Great Hollands
Great Hollands, just slightly southwest of Easthampstead used to be predominantly farmland right up until the mid 1950s. However now it boasts a fine community including a sports area, library, primary school, and supermarkets.
The streets originally came off a circular road, and were named in alphabetical order – after telephone exchanges in London.
Formerly populated by one of the UKs biggest plants, Sperry, the only reminder of those days is a concrete gyroscope on the roundabout.
There are good transport links into Bracknell, and then on to other areas of the country.
